A campus film club is inaugurated on first October 2010 by Mr. Aanand Varala a renowned Film Critic and Secretary of the
Federation of Film Societies of India.

Firstly the convener of the club Dr.Ponna Srinivas explained the aims and objectives of the club.
He said the Artistic films,films on environment and meaningful  cinema will be  shown to the students
The awareness of art and aesthetics of cinema will be introduced to the students in addition to this
he promised to screen and discuss the women cinema etc..

Aanand Varala in his presentation explained the birth and evolution moving images and the role
of short films in the present scenario. He encouraged to  the students to take the media as profession.
The Naac convener Sri Vijaya Kumar, Sandhya, Revathi and lecturers and students participated in the programme.
