The College Principal Dr.Sushelamma presided over the meeting and Dr.Sudhakar was the Chief guest.
Varala Aanand speaking on the occasion said that Film making and the TV production may taken as a profession by the students as number of creative opportunities are available
in the Entertainment industry. Further he stated that the students have to learn and develop the aesthetic appreciation of the visual media by writing views and reviews on the films
screened in the campus film club. Dr.Sudhakar said that students should develop the taste towards cinema, music and other arts o enable them to become good citizens.The Principal
said that the college is very thankful to the CCE for giving permission to start film club in the college. She said that the club will be screening meaningful films to the students and conduct the
VIEW and REVIEW programme. Faculty members, Students participated in the function Mr.Varala Aanand made a power point presentation on International cinema.
